Road Trip Shout Out: A Spot the Match Game

Whether studying transportation, going on a field trip or taking a family vacation to see Grandma, Road Trip Shout Out is a fun and engaging game for children (and adults) of all ages. Road Trip has 2 standard option play ideas: 1) Use in a car (bus or field trip). Take one card and look outside. If you find an object on your card, take another card from the pile. See how many cards you can collect during your trip. 2) Standard play: Each player takes a card, with remaining cards placed in a pile. Compare your card to the pile and find your one, and only one, match. Spot it and shout out. The player to collect the most cards wins.

Game Assembly

Making the game is simple -- print, cut and play.

1. Print out front of cards (6 pages) Print in color or black and white. I like to use cardstock to increase durability. If they will be used frequently, then I also like to laminate.
2. Print desired backing
3. Cut: use 3” circle punch for circles. Use scissors or paper cutter for square shape.
4. Play!
