LDS Shout Out: A Spot the Match Game

Looking for a good Sabbath activity, a game for family home evening, general conference, youth or primary? LDS Shout Out has 31 Mormon themed illustrations, with 6 pictures on each card. LDS Shout Out offers two ways to play: 1) When listening to a speaker, if they say something that's on your card, quietly take another card. How many cards can you collect? 2) Standard play: Each card has one, and only one match, with every other card. Seek for your match and when you spot it, shout out. The player to find the most matches first wins. This is great to play during final moments of a primary class, or as a Sabbath activity at home or for Family Home Evening.

Game Assembly

Making the game is simple -- print, cut and play.

1. Print out front of cards (6 pages) Print in color or black and white. I like to use cardstock to increase durability. If they will be used frequently, then I also like to laminate.
2. Print desired backing
3. Cut: use 3” circle punch for circles. Use scissors or paper cutter for square shape.
4. Play!
